Description and Rules
The idea of this webpage is to promote the use of the study room located at block M room 15. I hope to see you come here in the study room more often since it demonstrates your self-motivation and willingness to make better use of your time. In all there are 20 pc's fully functioning, 16 of which are connected to the MCAST network. The other 4 have have Ubuntu operating system which is ideal for use on Virtual machines since you will have full administration access. Check for label on these PC's in order to log on as an administrator. These Ubuntu machines are provided with WIFI connectivity. No direct connections are permitted on MCAST network as for your laptops as in other in all other labs. For internet connection there is a strong WIFI signal which is available as in the rest of institute.It is very important however whilst you are studying here, you behave properly properly. Who comes here, is completely on voluntarily basis and requires a quiet environment.
As in library, you cannot make use of your mobile phone or talk loudly or dine as if you are at the canteen. The rules are written on the main entrance door, kindly respect them.
I am here to help any student who wish my assistance in his or her work. Whether it is something that you are finding it hard to absorb in class or else in need of a second opinion on your project. Just let me know and I do my very best to help you.
My background is from engineering and industry as in the past I worked in several companies. At the moment however I am particularly interested in the influence of Brexit on the GBP and for this reason I am linking this homepage with a chart from Tradeview. I used a javascript that gives real time data progression.
